EICS was entrusted by the District Health authority to run Rogi Sahayata Kendra (RSK) at Bolpur Sub Divisional Hospital. EICS has been running the RSK since April 2015. Additionally EICS has given responsibility for running one more RSK at Bolpur Super Specialty Hospital and is running this RSK from March 2017.

A system for disseminating information to patients and relatives will not only help the patients, but also increase the credibility of that health facility. Decreasing the communication gap eases the strain in doctor-patient relationship and move towards better work environment. In view of that RSK project started.

The main objectives of setting up Rogi Sahayata Kendras (RSK) at all district and Sub-divisional Hospitals of the State are to:

• Provide accurate information about the services available in the health facility to all clients and stakeholders,
• Disseminate all patient related information to patients and relatives on a real time basis so that they may access the available services fully and without delay; and,
• Assist the service providers of the health facility by appropriately guiding the patients/visitors.
